Brewed my first batch this morning and the coffee came out noticeably cleaner than my old drip machine — no grit, no bitterness. The thick glass feels sturdy and the hourglass shape looks great sitting on my counter. Takes a bit longer, but it's worth it.

The wooden collar and tie make it feel more like a piece of kitchen gear than a gadget, and cleanup is just rinsing the glass — no paper filters piling up. I've been making a full pot every morning and the coffee tastes noticeably cleaner than my old drip machine.

That 1941 design still holds up — the wooden collar and glass neck look great sitting on my counter, and cleanup is just a rinse since there's no plastic basket. Coffee comes out clean and sediment-free every time, though you do have to commit to the slow pour.
