The washed processing really lets the Gera Forest terroir show through — bright and clean in the cup with none of the muddiness I get from some naturals. Been brewing it as a pour-over every morning this week.

I usually drink natural Ethiopians, so this washed one from the Sadi district caught me off guard in the best way. It's clean and bright with a soft floral thing going on that I can't quite name, and the cup stays sweet even when I brew it a little too fast in the morning.

First time trying a washed coffee from the Sadi district and the clarity is unreal. Floral and tea-like in a way that reminds me of good jasmine, and it stayed smooth even when I accidentally let it over-extract a bit.
